My Mower Quits After 10 Minutes?My lawn tractor will only run for 10 minutes, then stops. It will restart but not run. When the temperature outside dropped to 53, the mower ran for 30 minutes then stopped. Again I could restart but it wouldn't run. Apparently when the engine heats up, it will shut down. I let the mower sit for a half hour then it will run again and then given the outdoor temperature, run for 10 or 30 minutes. Clean gas and filter and plug and fresh oil. I thought it was a fuel issue until the temperature dropped.

Singer Tension Discs Assembly Order?Hi, I got a Singer 6212c SM with tension unit, like the one shown in your picture. I am having upper tension problems and seems I misassembled the tension unit. I used to see just 2 discs in my featherweight machine but this model has 3 discs, 1 plain plus 2 curved as in most Singer machines. I think the plain disc goes in between, in contact with curved sides of the other 2 discs, Am I right or there is a different configuration?

Removing Stain and Oily Residue From Unfinished Walnut?Hello. I have a bare walnut butcher block desk top that I am getting ready to finish with Daly's Benmatte tung oil. It was my first time using a tack cloth and it left a sticky/oily residue on the surface of the wood after I sanded it. I then used 90% rubbing alcohol to remove the wax spots from the tack cloth. It removed most of the spots but at some point I must have splattered the surface with the alcohol leaving a white alcohol stain.

I have tightened/replaced them several times over the years, so now the wood has been reamed by the screws. I thought I'd drill holes all the way through and fasten with nuts and bolts. I bought wing nuts and lock washers to use with the bolts, figuring it would be easier to get my small hands in the tight spaces than to use conventional nuts and a wrench. Frozen Janome Sewing Machine?I had not used my Janome 7500 machine for several months. Then when I took it out to sew, it would not turn. After moving the wheel by hand using a fair amount of pressure, it moved then I was able to use it. My husband then cleaned it out and greased some of the moving parts and all was well.
